All my favorite sports teams are doing well.

The [tag]Cubs[/tag] are 1 1/2 games ahead of the second-place brewers and four games ahead of the Redbirds.

The Woodruff High School Warriors, in their season opener, beat the East Peoria Raiders 55-0.

This may be a sign of a apocalypse.

Nah.

But I’m not going to be posting here as much.

Try as I might, I can’t get people interested in coming here all that often, and by NOT posting light hearted “fun” stuff on Peoria Pundit, I’m seeing an erosion in traffic at my main blog.

So, I’ll be migrating some some stuff from here to there. Not a lot, but some. Indeed, I’ve found that I was slowly returning to the “old” Peoria Pundit anyway. I guess I’m just acknowledging that things are now officially back to the way they were.

So, If you stumble across this site and wonder why there hasn’t been a post on a loooooong time, that’s why.

She’s been running with a fast crowd at Spellman College, they say. At least she isn’t whoring it up at trendy clubs and getting arrested.

Nothing drastic. Just a need to change priorities for a while. So don’t expect the same number of posts on Peoria Pundit or here.

Except for those lucky few I’ve linked already, there will be no more who do not reciprocate.

I created this site Saturday morning. I linked it to my Peoria Pundit blogrolls shortly after.

I wonder how long before anyone notices? I think I’ll wait a few days before I post an announcement on Peoria Pundit. It will give me some time to get some posts up. Funny how I created this site for nonsense posts like this and now I can’t think of anything to say.

But isn’t it always that way with blogs?

Peoria Pundit used to be called Bill’s Content. I’ve recently decided to try to keep the personal stuff off of PP because I want that blog to be taken seriously as an agent for change (unlike traditional mainstream media, which purport to be objective distributors of news and information without bias or regard to the effect their work has on public opinion). I can write a dozen thoughtful essays on the state of politics and the media and all people will remember is the “eye candy” post I tossed up there on a lark. So no more eye candy on Peoria Pundit anymore. No blonde jokes, either.

All that stuff goes here now.

In other words:

Peoria Pundit is an online journal of news and opinion.

Bill’s Content is a blog.

And I intend to keep this blog simple. Everything is simple and out of the box, without a lot of tinkering.

BTW: Some domain name speculator bought Billscontent.com, so I’m just going to use BlogPeoria like I recomend everyone does.
